Working in the marketing, communications,

Today I have the pleasure of welcoming to my blog the founder of the leading online digital marketing portal , Marketing Directo . Thank you very much for taking the time to answer this extensive interview, with all of you Javier Piedrahita.

Since I’ve always been very restless, I started working in various places from a young age, because I wasn’t one of those people who likes to study and do nothing more than that. Communication has always been a part of my life because of my father’s profession, Manuel Piedrahita. Seeing how your father covered important events and chronicled things from Germany for TVE was a real highlight. And one of those various places I worked was a German company that worked russia phone number library  in marketing . That’s when I clearly saw the need for it at a time when the internet was just starting to take off.

Is it essential started in marketing  for a professional

and advertising sector to have a professional blog?
Not necessarily. If you’re goin de valuable content, go ahead. But if you’re just going to be just another one, don’t bother. There are thousands of blogs in the sector in Spanish, and just as many in English, so you have to do something that truly sets you apart from the rest .

Interview with Javier Piedrahita
How is the marketing sector doing? How will it evolve over the next 10 years?
I think these years of crisis have l d. Besides, we’re living in such turbulent times that there seems to be more caution now. I think it takes courage , for brands to position themselves, for agencies to propose innovation and risk, for consumers to demand different marketing. What will it be like in 10 years? I wish I knew because you’d already see me applying and selling the recipe. I trust that during these years we’ll be able to balance creativity and technology, data and emotion.

Why are fake news sweeping social media?

I know my answer won’t be very orthodox, but I think the blame lies with the readers. It’s time we stopped blaming social media, Cambridge Analytics, Russia, etc. We citizens demand rights, which is all very well, but we forget that we also have obligations. And one of them, when it comes to electoral processes , for example, is to stay informed. Being informed doesn’t mean reading the first news story we find on Facebook. But we’ve  fortable. “I’m too lazy to read, if I saw it on Facebook it must be true” how does a did number increase order conversion?  is the new way of thinking. Fake news can’t be erased; it’s been around forever.Working in the

but they’ve always been there because they’ll always have an audience. The problem is that social media’s viral reach has  caseno email list also been growing. If we fought to encourage people to think more critically, to read more, to question more, we wouldn’t have to fight fake news.
